Position overview – Principal Consultant
The role of the Consulting team is to enable Fredhopper customers to get maximum value from our Products and Solutions. The team works in close co-operation with customers and implementation partners, with Fredhopper Account management and with Fredhopper Product Development.

The Principal Consultant is a key role within our Client Services Team.  You will provide hands-on project management, high-level account management, and Consulting team leadership on all Fredhopper projects. Our Consultants play a pivotal role in our success. They not only implement our solutions with customers, but also serve as trusted advisors and eCommerce and Merchandising experts. Once our customers have started to use Fredhopper, we continue to engage with them on Functionality enhancements, Merchandising optimizations, Predictive Targeting recommendations and much more.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure successful delivery of Fredhopper customer implementation projects
• Build long lasting relationships and serve as trusted advisor to Customers and Partners
• Manage the deployment of Fredhopper Consultants
• Bring thought leadership to our customers on Targeting and Merchandising strategies
• Provide hands-on guidance on Functionalities, Installations/Configurations, Data sources, Trainings

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years experience in Professional Services roles
• Experience with main Linux/Unix/Windows operating systems and with .Net and Java based eCommerce platforms. Experience with Saas solutions; Strong data understanding/handling skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; Fluent English
• Strong client-facing, presentation, and relationship skills
• Solid eCommerce experience – in areas such as Guided navigation, Merchandising, Targeting, Personalisation, Email marketing, SEO/SEA – is a strong plus
